These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things Thursday

Remember when I was doing these regularly? Remember how I forgot that I was doing them regularly? Well, I've decided I'm going to do them every Thursday from now on. I love seeing what other people are doing and using, and maybe you'll find something you end up loving through me, too! So, here we go!

1. Maybelline Illegal Length Mascara

I have been on the lookout for a good mascara forrrrever. I'm not kidding, if you were to look in my makeup drawer you would find at least 10 mascaras that are barely used because I can't stand them. But they are barely used...so I also am a freak who can't stand to throw them away. But, I am happy {so VERY happy} to say that I finally found one that I love. I got the waterproof one because I do Zumba every week and I sweat like crazy so I didn't want mascara dripping down my face after working out. But this stuff doesn't clump, it doesn't flake off and get in your eye and almost make you get in a car accident, it stays put. And it REALLY lengthens your eyelashes. Mine are pretty short, light brown and PATHETIC. {gag}. But this stuff really fixes it all. (maybe I should do a demo sometime??? Be warned...me without mascara is really scary.)

For real.

2. Champion PowerBack Sports Bra
My mamas need some pretty good support. I'm a 34C and before I got these bras I worried about giving myself a black eye with my ladies when I would run. No fun. Plus I hated the whole uni-boob look from my other sports bra which basically just crammed everything all together. These support AND separate and parts of the bra that put pressure on your body have a special gel liner thing that keeps it from chafing you. It's really quite cozy. Best sports bra EVER. You can find them at tons of places...go get one. You won't regret it. And your boobs will thank you.

3. Dove Intensive Repair Shampoo/Conditioner

This stuff is fairly new. I kept seeing commercials for it and wondering if it really worked. We live in a super dry climate so my hair suffers, especially during winter. It really needed some TLC. So one day I bought them and I was really surprised! My hair was SO soft and shiny and it smelled so good...and I noticed that after a few uses my hair wasn't breaking at the ends like it was before. I swear...it's like...stretchy now. (does that make any sense?). It claims to reduce spit ends, and I gotta say...I believe it. My hair looks a zillion times better than it did before I was using it. I think this may be a new staple in the Brimhall household.

4. York Peppermint Patties
My husband asked me what I wanted for Valentines Day. Did I say roses? No. Did I say a day at the spa? (thought about it...but no.) Did I say a massage? Okay...yes.) And York Peppermint Patties. I seriously love these things. The deceptive Low Fat Food thing on the wrapper always helps to. (doesn't mention that it's loaded with sugar, but what the heck.)

5. NYC In a New York Minute Nail Polish

For me, this is pretty much the ONLY nail polish I use. I hate...hate...HATE taking the time to paint my nails all nice and then waiting for them to dry (which NEVER happens because somehow they ALLLLWAYS get smudged). So...I started using this. It dries SO fast and I can actually get them to dry without getting them smudged or dented. I can even paint wiggly Kate's little fingers and toes and they dry before she can destroy my pretty paint job. They have lots of fun colors and you can do fun nail art without it turning into a sticky mess. Good stuff. Fo' shizzle.

And, there you go! A few of my favorite things. :) What are some of your favorite things?

I will have to check out that nail polish! I hate waiting for it to dry....especially in the winter because then my feet freeze while I'm waiting for my pedi to dry.

I love York patties. Now I want to do a favorite things post!
