Bleh.

How do you know when you are gaining too much weight? How about when your stretch marks from when you were PREGNANT start to itch and stretch again? Or you can't fit into your jeans. Or your scale yelps in pain when you step on it. Sigh. I've got to admit, I've really let myself go. I've gained ten pounds since the holidays! I've been eating whatever I want and not even caring. I am a horrible stress eater! Some days this includes an entire half batch of chocolate chip cookies...which I've been making about 3 times a week. And just yesterday I realized that the half of a quesadilla that I have been eating for lunch pretty much every day is actually almost 800 calories! (for the record, it's one flour tortilla folded in half with cheese, ranch dressing and tapatio grilled on a skillet). And that's just HALF of a quesadilla! AAAAAH! I just about died when I found that out. It's time to change. I think I need to start watching The Biggest Loser to get pumped or something. How do you guys get excited to exercise? And where do you find the time? I need some serious will power. HELP!

I am right there with you. Friday was horrible when I realized that I can only fit in three pairs of pants - one pair is a newish pair of jeans which I cannot wear to work. My two pairs of work pants are both old, and too tight, and i even secretly leave the top button of the fly undone under my shirt. So Saturday I just had to do something -and I went shopping and got a couple new pairs of pants. I feel a lot better about my wardrobe, but not about myself.

We have a gym at work that is free if you go more than 3 times a week. I hate exercising, by not getting charged is a good incentive. I have never been a very faithful exerciser, but now I am going to make a promise to myself to work out 3 times a week for 6 weeks without even looking for results. No scales or anything!!

Also, I do find Biggest Loser motivating. Our neighbors (the gray team!) our on it this year. Go Moses and Kaleigh!

Um...let me know if you figure it out! I would love to get back into dance but Mark doesn't get home in enough time. Sorry about the stress! Try some tasty gum and sparkling flavored water. Although they don't sound nearly as good as homemade cookies...

Lately for me it is just being more aware of what you are eating! You are moving in the right direction. Then excercise 3-4 times a week for only like an half an hour because it is all the time i can come up with. So far it works great when i stick with it. I've lost 20 pounds and trying hard to get rid of 10 more. GOOD LUCK!

I have lost half an inch in the belly in one week by adding 1tsp of Raw Apple Cider Vinegar -with the mother- in 8oz of water with 4 drops of Stevia (prefer the vanilla or orange flav so far) You can get these items at the health food store. You take it first thing in the morning, at lunch and at dinner. I have also had to watch some of what I eat because I'm getting REALLY bad heart burn. I need to go back to the Dr because the chest pain isn't going away. good luck Nat.
